Family Day

This year’s Family Day at the Alberta legislature has been moved indoors, so you won’t have to worry about feet and hands getting cold.

Among events and activities taking place in the Edmonton Federal Building through the fifth floor of the legislature building will be the history hunt, games and dancing, a build-your-own legislature, and a chance to meet with Rocky the Ram. Also open for the day will be the visitor centre, featuring the Pehonan Theatre, Agora Interpretive Centre, Borealis Gallery and Alberta Branded.

When: Monday, Feb. 15, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

If you’re lacking in gear, take note: free skate and helmet rentals will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. If the cold gets to you, City Hall will be open with live entertainment, crafts and more.
